Opened around 1913 as the Schade Theatre. The name was changed to the Ohio Theatre in the 1930’s. By the late-1970’s, the Ohio Theatre was operating as an adult theater.

A Wurlitzer organ opus 1494 was installed in the Schade Theater in 1926.
