Last days of the original Crescent which operated as a movie theater from 1912 to 1952. The building was converted from and to retail. The theater hit its demise in the television era opening just three days a week entering 1950 and then just two days a week for its final year and a half closing June 22 after showing “Wagon Master and "Nevada Badmen” with an episode from the serial, “The James Brothers” and a cartoon. Not a bad way to exit.
