The Sutherland Park Drive-In opened July 21, 1950 with Jack Carson & Doris Day in “Romance on the High Seas”. It had a capacity for 500 cars. Operated by Famous Players, it closed around 1985.

You are right on the 500 cars in 1956 it was owned by F.P.C.C. so in the late 50’s it was open.

Its former site is now Forest Lawn elementary school, a park and some multi-family residential.
