Located 2 miles south of Highway 11. The Southwinds Drive-In opened on March 29, 1974 with Dustin Hoffman in “Strawdogs” & Ewa Aulin in “Candy”. It had a capacity for 350 cars
It was run by the 8th Street Theatre Co, who also operated the Duffy Cinema 3 (formerly Cinema Twins).
Southwinds Drive-In closed in aprox 1990.
