The Cheboygan Drive-In went through a number of owners, John Wagner, Charles Leneschmidt, E. Wagner and finally R.J. Theatres before closing. The drive in opened in July of 1952 with car capacity listed at 500 and a single screen. No closing date listed.

The Cheboygan Drive-In is still listed in 1980 with E. Wagner as the operator that year.

The front of the lot is occupied by a BP gas station which recycled the drive-in’s driveways.

From an aerial you can still see some of the footprint of the drive-in.
