Highland is almost on the Hudson, just east of New Paltz and a stone’s throw from Poughkeepsie. The town is a really small and sheltered main street and anyone can miss it. Just behind it is a nice sized hill and boom! you’re right on the main roadway with the bridge to Poughkeepsie across the way.

The site is now a private, pre-school called "123 P.L.A.Y."
