Located in the east London district of Old Ford. Originally a concert hall built on the ground floor, adjacent to the Royal Victoria Public House. It was adjacent to the east side of the Regents Canal alongside Royal Victoria Place. It was licenced as a music hall theatre from 1867-1887 with a seating capacity for 300. Re-built in 1890, it operated again as a music hall theatre until 1903.

From 1910 to 1914 it operated as a cinema.
