Golden Gate Theatre

The Golden Gate Theatre was a neighbourhood theatre in To Kwa Wan on the Kowloon side of Hong Kong.
Its 1,153-seat auditorium was on the first floor of the theatre section of a residential building, with the lobby on the ground floor. It was equipped with Simplex projectors.

The theatre opened to business on 28th September 1966 with "OSS 117 Mission for a Killer", and showed first run English language and Chinese dialect films until 1991. From 1992 until its closure in 1996, adult films were shown.

The auditorium has been converted into a church.
