Hampstead Picture Palace

Located on Heath Street, between Streatley Place and Cornick’s Yard. The Eldorado Cinematograph Theatre opened sometime between October 1909 and April 1910. It was initially operating without a Cinematograph Licence, but was licenced by September 1909.

In 1913, it was re-named Hampstead Picture Palace, and was also advertised as the Hampstead Electric Theatre. It was closed by the end of 1916, and in 1917 it had become the Tube Tea Roms, named for its location close to the Hampstead Underground (tube) station.

In 2008, the building is in use as the Gaucho Grill Restaurant.
