Playboy Cinema

Located on the southern end of Wardour Street, between Shaftesbury Avenue and Coventry Street, in the heart of London’s West End.

The Playboy Cinema was one of many sex cinemas operating in the area in the late-1970’s. It was on the ground floor of the building, and closed in the early-1980’s.

For many years, it has housed Marx gentleman’s hairdressers, with ‘models’ available on the first and second floors above.
