The Orpheum Theater was opened either late-1920 or early-1921. In 1926 a Wurlitzer organ was installed in the Orpheum Theater. The Orpheum Theater is listed in the 1951 Film Daily Yearbook but not in the 1955 edition.

This theatre is long gone, so change it to “closed/demolished”. The area has been almost completely redeveloped.
The March 14, 1921, issue of The Film Daily said that the Orpheum Theatre at Akron had opened recently.
