Uploaded Goggle Earth 1989. With all the land out there, they had to build right there the drive-in was at. Maybe the business was not very good.

Correction that second photo is not from 1984 but 1985. I went here in the fall of 1987 with my family when I was 11 to see a double feature of THE LOST BOYS and WITCHES OF EASTWICK. The sound was off an AM radio station. But it was fun!

I saw this sign for the 45 Drive in painted over and was used for the short lived Lone Star Amphitheater on Westpark @ W Loop 610

Drive-Ins..com lists this as an 8 screen but the photos of the marquee shows 6 with car capacity at 3500. Short life of only 10 years. Nows a Fry’s Electronic Store.
