Opened in 1930 as the Tokio Theatre and renamed the Tokyo Theatre in 1935. Seating was listed at 265 seats. The name was changed to the Vee Theatre after the bombing of Peal Harbor in 1941.

The Vee Theatre closed in 1955.

In the opeing comments I stateed that the theatre opened in 1941. The theatre actually opened in 1930 as the Tokio and was renamed the Tokyo in 1935.

I have the city spelled wrong, it should be Veedersburg.

Theatre was renamed Vee in 1941 when Japan attacked Pearl Harbor.
