I’m not sure the dates are entirely correct.
I can vaguely remember going in there as a very young child to see the Disney film, “Make Mine Music” and I wasn’t born until 1950.
My mum, and all the locals, always referred to it is The Ritz, but I think it had been renamed many years before.

The building wasn’t demolished in 2013 either. I went to what was Jones' fish shop next door about 3 years ago (2017) and it was still there then.
