The Weeks Theatre opened in 1913 and was operated for decades by Charlie Weeks. The theatre seated 616. The theatre was remodeled in 1948 and the seating capacity was increased to 700. It reopened in January 19, 1949 with John Wayne in “Three Godfathers”.

In the early-1970’s, Kerasotes operated this theatre and it was re-named El Theatre. They closed the El Theatre in February-1977 when their twin opened on Business Highway 60.

The theatre is now used for office space. Any further information on this theatre would be appreciated.
