Located in Staines-upon-Thames, Middlesex, to the west of Greater London. The New Empire Cinema was opened in 1912. Seating was provided in stalls and circle levels, and it had a 25 feet wide proscenium.

The New Empire Cinema was still listed in 1940, but had closed by 1954. It briefly re-opened as the Paris Cinema and finally closed in 1959.

It later went into commercial use, and a false ceiling was inserted, covering the original decorative ceiling in the auditorium. This was revealed again when the building was being demolished in late-1997.

The cinema finally closed in 1959 and was managed by Middlesex Cinemas. One source says its final name was the Paris.
