The Ridge Cinemas opened in 1996 by Marcus Theatres. The Theatre features state of the art digital sound, stadium seating and first run attractions, with other amenities.

When it originally opened it was a 9 screen then went to 12 and 16 and finally completely redone with 20 screens.

This opened on August 9th, 1996 with eight cinemas. (I Think they reached 12 by the end of the year)

16 screens in 1998 and 20 in 2000. It is the largest theatre in the state.
you can tell where the extensions are by the slight difference color of the roof in aerial photos of this cinema.
