The Richard Theatre opened in 1920 with seating given at 468. The Richard Theatre was an African American theatre that was owned by Alfred Eisman thru 1940 and then by Co-Op Theatres of Michigan.

The Richard Theatre closed in 1960 and has since been demolished. Any further information on this theatre would be appreciated.
