The Courtier Theatre opened in 1934 with seating lsited at 400. This was to be one of two theatres in Hamilton the other being the Artilla/Till Theatre. The Till Theatre burned down but was later rebuilt.

The Courtier Theatre closed in 1951 and was later demolished. Any further information on the Courtier Theatre would be appreciated.
