The Temple Theatre opened in 1935 with seating listed at 1,250. This theatre was part of the Florida State Theatre circuit.
The Temple Theatre closed in 1950 and has since been demolished. There is now a parking garage where the theatre once stood. Any further information on the Temple Theatre would be appreciated.

My mother graduated from Duval High School in 1927 on the stage of the Temple Theatre. I have the printed program. So, it must have been built before 1935.
Irv, it might have been before 1935, but everything I found stated opened in 1935. It could have gone through a remodel in 1935 anad been built before that, but I found no indications. I will do some more research and see what I come up with. Thanks for your input.
