The Blossom Trail Drive-In opened in 1955. It was renamed South Trail Drive-In August 7, 1960. It was owned by Floyd Theatres. Car capacity was listed at 700.
The drive-in closed in 1985 and has since been demolished. There is a Hampton Inn where the drive-in once stood.

This opened as the Blossom Trail Drive-In in 1955 and renamed South Trail Drive-In on August 7th, 1960. The 1960 ad is in the photo section and the 1955 ad is to come.
First movies as South Trail Drive-in were “S.o.s. Pacific” and “Dinosaurus”.
Boxoffice, Feb. 4, 1956: “The new Blossom Trail Drive-In has been opened for the season. Theodore Pawela, former Umatilla citrus man, is owner, and his son Edward will manage the new theatre. The Blossom Trail has a capacity of approximately 700 cars. Its 104x44-foot screen in the largest in the Orlando vicinity. The concession stand will serve cafeteria-style for faster and more efficient service.”
The above information is incorrect. Hampton is now Stayable across the trail from where the theater stood.
