Max Slaughter was the owner of the Movieland Drive-In in 1958. In 1964 the drive-in was sold to Commonwealth Theaters. Capacity was for 300 cars.

This should be Yankton Drive-In aka Movieland, opened as the Movieland in 1950, Commonwealth changed the name to Yankton in 1964. It remained the Yankton until it closed in 1985. Commonwealth listed the car capacity at 300 cars. Here is a copy of a handbill when it was the Movieland.

Header needs to be updated to the Yankton Drive-In AKA Movieland Drive-In. Opened in 1950 closed in 1985.

Movieland is the better name.

Approx. address for this drive-in was 2410 Broadway. Now Days Inn.
