Opened as a single screen in 1969. It was located in the Varsity Shopping Center. Originally operated by H.B. Meiselman Theatres. By 1980 it was a triplex with seating listed at 620. It was by that time operated by Eastern Federal Theatres.
The Varsity Theatre closed in 2001 and is Chubby’s Night Club.
