This eight foot tall bronzed statue of Eric Morecambe and Ernie Wise was commissioned to mark the 75th anniversary of the duo first appearing on stage together in 1941. Sculpted by Graham Ibbeson, and funded by private donations, the £75,000 statue was unveiled by the families of Morecambe and Wise on Friday 14th October 2016 at 11am. It is located in the Dome at the Church Street Entrance.
