The New State Theatre was opened April 29, 1932 and became the State Theatre by 1936. It was part of the Minnesota Amusement Co. chain in the late-1940’s, along with the Huron Theatre in the same city. It was twinned in 1965 and was converted into a triple screen theatre in 1993.

Opened as the New State Theatre in 1933. By 1936 it was just known as the State Thatre. Should have an AKA New State Theatre.
