The Mall Twin was open in the early-1980’s. It was opened by Martin Theatres and located in the Longview Mall. Seating was listed at 550. Carmike later operated the theatre until its closing in 1996.

Ken, I made a mistake on the State, I must have clicked on Texxessee and it should have been Longview, Texas.
Information obtained from the book “The Old Movie Theatres of Texas”.
The theater opened in 1978 when the mall opened, as was called Martin Twin Cinema. The name changed to Mall Twin Cinema when sold to Carmike. The closing date of 1996 sounds about right. The old theater is now the location of a Christian teen club called Oneighty, http://www.oneighty.tv/
