This Picture shows the Auditorium designed by Percy Lindsey Browne & Glover after the first Fire. The Stage shows the CinemaScope refit including Festoon tabs. The way this work was done has the “Modernisiation Ltd.” look about it. When the Organ was used, two very large doors where opened beneath the screen. Alas I only saw it done a few times.. This Theatre is my number 2 Favorite Cinema in Walsall after the ABC Savoy… PS. This is also a Picture Treat for Ken Roe ..
