Louisville, Georgia was served with a nice downtown theatre still showing movies today, and two drive-ins. The Barbour Drive-In was like most small town drive-in’s, a place to meet and enjoy a good movie.
The Barbour Drive-In for a small town parked 304 cars which is a nice size lot for Louisville. It was owned by F.B.Pierce. Not a lot is known about the Barbour Drive-In. Hopefully, someone on CT can help with other facts, but like most small town drive-in’s, it served the area for several years and like so many just closed up and gone.

For the record the locals say “LOUIS VILLE” not pronouced like the city in Kentucky.
That’s a pretty good size drive-in for a small town. Here’s another one that hopefully one of the locals can provide additional details on.
Thanks again.
This drive-in MAY have been open from 1961-1975? Can you find any more info on the dates or address?
The Film Daily Year Book of Motion Pictures, 1967
Drive-Ins
Georiga
Louisville
lists Barbour, so it must have been open around 1967.
