Milo Drive-In

The Milo Drive-In was located near Milo on Elm Street as read from a story about the Chic Theater which was located directly in Milo. " Milo outgrew the little theater and it was no longer profitable.

The Milo Drive-In was opened on June 10, 1950 with Randolph Scott in “Albuquerque” & Rotu Calhoun in “Adventure Island”. By 1957, the Chic Theater had closed and the drive-in on Elm Street continued into late-1975.

Well,Kirk, In 1956 it was a new thing for the town of Milo. It parked 450 cars making not the largest Drive-in in Maine, but in the top ten. It was owned still by Mrs.E. Mills.

Anyone know a more exact address?

It was open from ABOUT 1955-1980. I know it was open in 1967.

In 1955 it was owned by Affliated Theaters Corporation (Lockwood and Gordon) of Boston.

In 1961 it was owned by Daytz Enterprises Corporation (of Boston?)

The Milo opened in 1950 and operated until sometime in the 1980s. It was still in operation as late as 1975.

A closer address is 286 Elm St, Milo, ME.

This address is right next to the entrance road. You can still make out the outline, a few ramps, and what’s left of the concession stand/projection booth.
