I am almost convinced almost any town of any size had a movie theatre or the "picture show " in the state of Georgia. Gibson, Georgia, a town I have been through is about as small as one can get and have a theatre.
I have a nose for old theatres and I can say I never saw a building in that town that looked like a movie theatre. But they had the Gibson Theatre. I searched Martin Theatres and Pal Theatres and neither one of them ran it in the late-1950’s. Gibson, located at the cross roads of State Highway 102 and 171 did have their movies booked by ABC Theatrical Enterprises out of Jacksonville, FL, in 1956.
Hopefully, someone else can add more to this old and forgotten theatre.

Gibson is small, it’s population in 2000 was 694, of course years ago it could have been larger.
More info, photos or an address would indeed be helpful.
Bob.It wasn’t much bigger.i was surprized when i found it in my 1956 Motion Picture Almanac.
