The Joy Drive-In was located in Hartwell, Georgia. It opened prior to 1955 and parked 250 cars. It was owned by Y.T. Yarbrough.

Open 1955-1976?

Open for sure in 1967.

Yes,Chuck to answer your long awaited answer,The Hart And Joy are the same.June 8 1979 has “WANDA NEVADA” playing.

This one was south of town on US 29, just south of Memorial Road. There’s a lumber warehouse or something there now. I couldn’t figure out an address, but its coordinates are 34.338772,-82.954872.
