The Davenport Theatre changed hands in 1912, as noted in the September 7 issue of Moving Picture World: “F. E. Daigneau, of Austin, Minn., father of D. Daigneau, closed a deal recently by which he purchased the fine Davenport motion picture theater at Redwing, Minn. Its seating capacity is 600.”

Open 1935-1950?

Owned 1940-1950 Welworth Theater Company?

Anyone have more info and photos?

Been to Red Wing, missed this theater. It’s a nice town on the Mississippi, home of Red Wing Shoes. Also home of Red Wing Stoneware, that all started back in 1861, we have all sorts of antique Red Wing jugs and crocks in our home here in Illinois. If you take AMTRAKS train number 7 & 8 the EMPIRE BUILDER between Chicago and Seattle Washington/Portland Oregon you stop in Red Wing.
