The Cine Ambassador is located on Calle 44, between Avenida 33 and Avenida 35. It opened in 1955. Built of brick, the facade has a concave feature, with the theatre name mounted on to of the marquee. Inside the auditorium, seating is located on orchestra and balcony levels. The upper side-walls are bare brick, while the lower side walls have a wooden dado, up which was mounted plants, which were illuminated by lighting from beneath.
The building survives, in a rather un-cared for state, but I am not sure what the current use is.

There is a photo of the Ambassador on the cover of Boxoffice, August 6, 1955.
The exact address of this theater was Calle 44 # 3305 between Avenidas 33 and 35, in Nicanor del Campo. I went once, in early 1959. It is incorrectly positioned on 130 Street in the street map. I don’t know what name they may have given the district now.
