The Sunset Drive-In opened on April 15, 1950. It had a car capacity for 529. It featured a pony ride ring, located in front of the screen.

I have it parking only 390 cars and was owned by Peter Garrette.

Highway 113 dosen’t tell where the Drive-In was.
Open ~1955-~1985 approximate? Can you verify better dates?
Open for sure in 1967.

I remember seeing both “Scared Stiff” (Martin & Lewis) and “The 5000 Fingers of Dr. T” (Tommy Retig, Hans Conried) at the Sunset. Both were released in 1953. If I went to any movies there before that, I don’t remember it. :)
