Operated by Joy’s Theatres this little triple served New Orleans with many good films. In 1978 saw "Jennifer", "Charlotte’s Web" and "You Light Up My Life" playing during the summer. Admission on the 1 pm show was always one dollar.
The Joy’s Aereon 3 was located off Metairie Road in the Metairie district northwest of New Orleans, and was not in a shopping center.

The Aereon opened in the late-1940’s as a single screen. It was in the late-1960’s when Joy’s Theatres took over operations. It was tripled in the early-1970’s and closed in April 1982.
PLEASE CHANGE ADDRESS TO:

3345 metair(i)e is misspelled and gives the Southern United States and Cental America on the map, not very helpful for finding a theater in Metairie.
Need more info and photos.
