The Benton Theatre was located in the small town of Benton, Kentucky. It was operating prior to 1941, and continued until at least 1950. It was a Ruffin Amusement Company theatre, a very small chain of theatres in the Blue Grass State and Tennessee. Benton did have two drive-ins operating in the late-1950’s.

Open ~1940-~1964 approximate? Can you verify the exact dates?

~1955-~1961 Ruffian Amusement Co., Inc., of Covington, Tenn. W.F. Ruffin, Jr. President. owned 7 theaters in 1967.

~1964 Rockwood Amusement Co.
