Operating prior to 1943, in the late-1950’s going to the Pix Theatre was the place to be in Mulvane, Kansas. There was no drive-in, so it was the picture show in town for the latest movies and Saturday morning serials. The Pix Theatre was owned by the Slothower Circuit in Wichita.
