The Santa Juanita was a large neighborhood theater located in a strip mall which also included a children’s clothing store and a grocery store. The showings there were quite eclectic, ranging from Hollywood features to Spanish-language to European.
I remember the owner was this older fellow who wore a hairpiece and would arrive to the theater in a white Cadillac. The Santa Juanita was also a favorite hangout for rowdy boys and teenagers (locally nicknamed "títeres") who would heckle at the screen.

Needs a better address. If you click on the Map it gives you locations all over the place. This isn’t very helpful in finding the theater.
Anyone have more info and photos?
