Corral Drive-In

The Corral Drive-In opened in 1950 with a 450 car capacity. It was owned by 4th Avenue Amusement Co. until 1971 when United Artists Theatres took over. The Drive-In closed in 1985.

It was at roughly 9496 US 40. You can see the faint remains of some of the ramps in the back of the lot.

Andy, you are right on the button with the address, there is a church where the entrance used to be. Looking at an aerial you can see the footprint of the former drive-in.

My 1956 Motion picture almanac adds 50 on the parking for 500 cars.
