The York-Clover Drive-In was opened on April 1, 1949 with Bud Abbott & Lou Costello in “In the Navy”. The York-Clover Drive-In was located in Filbert to the north of York, S.C. It was operated by John Ritchie. Here is a different type of triple feature you find at Drive-ins,"Monte Walsh","Rio Lobo" and instead of another good western you get,"Tarzan’s Deadly Silence". The York-Clover Drive-In was closed in 1965.

This one was at about 1960 Filbert Highway (US 321). Oddly enough, it seems to have been incorporated into the neighboring cemetary.
