CampusĀ©...Warrensburg Missouri

The Campus Theatre opened as a single screen by Commonwealth Theatres in 1968. It was twinned in 1972. From 1987 until closing it went through three different operators, United Artists, Crown Cinemas and finally Wallace Theatres.

It closed in the late-1990’s and now houses a Church of Christ. Any further information on the Campus Theatre would be appreciated.

Construction would soon begin on Commonwealth Theatres' new house at Warrensburg, Missouri, according to the August 7, 1967, issue of Boxoffice. The project was designed by the Kansas City firm Milton Costlow & Associates, and would feature decoration by Chicago’s Hans Teichert studios.
