The Center Theater was a second-run single screen theater that had double and triple features, including some real grindhouse fare, probably open into the 1970’s.

Open ~1961-~1969? Can anyone verify the exact dates? I know it was open in 1967.
Owned by Statesville Theater Corp. of Statesville, N.C., A.F. Sams Jr. President, they had 16 theaters in North Carolina.
Need an address, more info and photos.
