Yam Festival Parade 1947

The Ritz Theatre was operating prior to 1941. Like so many small town theatres the usual 3 or 4 different films a week like this one on August 6 and 7 1959:"The H-Man" and "The Women Eeaters" & quot;Last Train From Gun Hil" would follow, thank goodness.

Hopefully some CT members in the Carolinas can flesh this theatre out a bit more from what i was able to do.

Open ~1935-~1969? Can anyone verify the exact dates?

I know for sure it was open in 1967.

1955-1969 Stewart & Everett Theaters, Inc. of Charlotte, N.C., Charles B. Trexler, President & Treas., they had about 70 theaters in North Carolina, South Carolina and Virigina.
