In 1956 it was one of two drive-ins operating in Elkton, Virginia. Parking a little over 200 cars it was owned by Roth Theatres.

Roth Theatres closed the Blue Ridge Drive-In in 1954 and then opened the Cavalier Drive-In in 1955. So there was never two drive-in’s in operation at the same time.
