The Rex Theater was operating prior to 1916. It later became part of the Fox Theatres chain. It continued until at least 1950.

Very nice Don.
The Rex Theatre was mentioned in the September 23, 1916, issue of The Moving Picture World. The Rex and the Dream were noted as two theaters in Bremerton that were operated by the firm of Rantz & Oswald. The same firm was operating the Strand Theatre in Olympia, Washington.
I gave my friend a theater seat from either one of there two or the Roxy its a burgandy color with gold accents, the chair looks to be from the teens design wise, all it has for markings is it is an aisle seat and the cast arm side has an R on it.
