Chuck, I was just wondering if you have all this info,do you ever submit a theatre or Drive-in or just don’t have the time and let other members like me put them on and you and a few others “flesh them out” ? Great pictures.
Mike, during the winter months I spend my time in Hawaii and I don;t submit that many theatres. It is aggravating to me when theatres are submitted with no address and research on the internet will pretty much fill in a lot of the missing pieces of info. Right now I am doing research on a lot of Canadian Theatres that I will be submitting shortly. I do not submit a theatre without an address, if I don’t have an address I will put it aside and continue to search for more information. I will be returning to Missouri in May for the summer and will spend more time on CT.
The 215 E Main St is for the Norton Theatre (indoor). The Sunset was located on the SE corner of W Lincoln St and Road W1.
Thanks for the correction. During the 1960’s this drive-in was operated by Commonwealth Theastres of Kansas City as well as the Norton Theatre (indoor).

Seems to have been closed in 1967.
Owned from 1961-1964 by Commonwealth Theatres, Inc. of Kansas City, Mo., Richard H. Orear, President, they had over 110 theaters in Arkansas, Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, South Dakota and Wyoming.
