Iosco Theater

Oscoda, MI 48750

Operating prior to 1941, other sources indicate that the Iosco Theater closed just as the town’s current Lake Theatre opened in 1952.

The building was occupied by a bookstore from at least the 1970’s until the early-2000’s, when it moved across the street.

The building was demolished, and in 2011, the site is currently vacant.

1959 photo shows there was a restaurant called Pla-Mor Center before the bookstore moved in.

1965 listings show that Read-Mor Bookstore was here even then.
