Sky-Line Drive-In

New Ellington, SC 29809

Unfavorite No one has favorited this theater yet

Built during the H-Bomb Savannah River Plant era, the Sky-Line Drive-In was one of many drive-ins that popped up in Aiken and Barnwell Counties in South Carolina.

The Sky-Line Drive-In held under 200 cars and was open only from 1953 to 1955. Very much an over screened area. Located in New Ellington, a town in fact, created when the Bomb plant took the entire town of Ellington, S.C. for its hugh site.
