The Latches was open on 1930 with seating listed at 1150. It was owned by Latches Theatres. The theatre continued operations until at least the early-1980’s. The Latches was located in a three story store front building and having been converted to apartments today. The former entrance to the theatre is clear and on one side of the entrance there is a thrift store and on the other an engraving store.
