Grand opening ad

  • August 19, 1981 opened with 4 screens by Cinémas Unis
  • 1987 became part of Famous Players
  • 1989 expanded to 6 screens
  • 1995 expanded to 12 screens
  • 1997-8 “Titanic” second highest gross in North America
  • 2000 with the opening of 3 large megaplex cinemas with 48 screens in all, 6 screen were switched to a discount policy.
  • 2005 sold to Cineplex Entertainment
  • 2006 sold to Cinémas Fortune Ltee.
  • January 2007 6 screens in the mall are closed down.
  • February 5th, 2010 taken over by Cine-Enterprise after the bankruptcy of Cinemas Fortune Ltee.
  • August 2011 closed
